Introducing the Culture Committee

Our committee will celebrate the many wins our teams accomplish every day inside and outside of work. One example is the Best of Ascend, Starfish Awards.
Meaningful Moments
Within our organization we witness many heartwarming experiences. We want to hear about these moments. So we came up with Meaningful Moments. These forms are to be given to families, caregivers, partners, etc. We want to know about the difference you are making in the world.
Best of Ascend Awards
A Starfish is presented to someone who represents the Best of Ascend. These are colleagues who make a difference. Go above and beyond or just simply make each day better. We ask that you nominate your colleagues and share the wonderful stories that make them unique.
Best of Ascend Award Winners
I would like to nominate Suzy Felizardo, Executive Assistant for the Starfish Award – The BEST of Ascend Award. Suzy is a team player who goes above and beyond to not only help her co-workers but she also assists branch locations. She is very accommodating and will go the extra mile to help you solve a problem. Any issue I have brought to her she has not hesitated to jump right in and help with the resolution even if it was not her job to do so. Suzy has an excellent work ethic. She is a kind and big hearted person who does her job in a positive way and has definitely made an impact on our office.

Victoria has been a CNA for 11 years and has been an outstanding Addition to our northern Virginia ascend team. Victoria loves what she does and she is always happy when she sees her patients happy. She goes above and beyond caring for the patients and family. We have receive numerous positive feedback from patients family member’s. One family member stated “Victoria took care of my husbands like if he was Victorias family member! You don’t see that type of care anywhere now in days”. The keen family.
