Ascend Hospice recognizes the special bond between hospice patients and their pets. We believe that no one should have to give up their pet because of their illness. Part of our commitment to supporting our hospice patients includes the Pet Peace of Mind program which allows patients to complete the end-of-life journey without worrying about a pet’s current needs. The program provides volunteer pet care services for patients who are unable to care for their pets while on hospice.

Our volunteers can provide the following:

• Routine Walking
• Socialization/Playtime
• Feeding
• Waste Management
